Wild Rice Pilaf

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsps. butter
1 / 2 onion, chopped
2 cups wild rice
4 cups chicken stock
 

In large saucepan, melt butter, add onion and saute’ 5 minutes until transparent. Add rice and cook stirring 5 minutes. Add chicken stock, stir until it begins to boil. Cover and cook until rice is cooked, about 20 minutes. Serve with Gumbo.
